Coddled Eggs

I was given 2 coddler cup from a friend of mine in England. Since that time I have purchased a total of 6 more from Ebay.

To make coddled eggs spray the inside of the coddler cup with a vegetable spray so the eggs won't stick.
pour in 1 teaspoon of milk
1 egg
salt, pepper or your favorite seasoning to taste.
add some grated cheese
Put the lid on (but not to tight)
Place in a pan of water so the water comes up to the bottom of the lid.
Bring water to a boil and cook anywhere from 6-10 minutes depending on how well you like your eggs done.
*(for my son Michael I need to scramble the eggs first then pour the eggs into the coddler cup)
*Eat you eggs with a baby spoon. It takes longer to eat and is more fun that way regular teaspoons sometimes do not fit inside a coddler cup. (I went to goodwill and bought a whole stack of baby spoons, then took the plastic coating off.) They work great and your brain is tricked into thinking it is getting more than you are actually eating. That way you can feel very elegant, and sophisticated.
