Salmon Cakes with Lemon-Herb Sauce

My wife Carolyn is is an outstanding cook when she wants to be, she made this dish tonight. I created the sauce, what a compliment...For the sauce:
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
2 1/ teaspoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dehydrated thyme
salt and pepper to taste.
(this made double the sauce that was needed so I will have leftovers)

For the Salmon cakes:
1 7 oz can (Kirkland) salmon
1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
1/4 cup mayonnaise
